Vehicle, Legacy and Honesty: Symposium on the Practice, Impact and Development of Grotowski and His Art

Master of 20th-century contemporary theatre, Jerzy Grotowski developed“ Art as Vehicle”, an alternative form of performing arts, revolutionising the aesthetics of theatre-making and training.

Beyond East and West, time and space, Grotowski’s“ essential collaborator” and a group of distinguished Asian theatre artists and scholars will talk about their exploration and understanding of Grotowski’s art to deliberate on the possibilities of performing arts in the future.
