KaJeng Wong was brought to the public’s attention by his documentary KJ: Music & Life, the Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Awards in 2009. He spent four years studying under Prof. Emile Naoumoff at the Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) after training with Nancy Loo and Gabriel Kwok; he participated in festivals such as PianoTexas and Verbier Festival Academy, and won twice the IUB concerto competition. Recently, he garnered the first prize and chamber music prize at the Alaska International Piano-e Competition in 2018.

KaJeng’s career spans a multitude of areas. Besides performing music, he curates innovative programmes at the annual Music Lab Festival as Artistic Director, organises overseas tours, writes prolifically for the media, and hosts his own music programmes.

Largely due to his ambition to connect with others through music, he continues to surprise audiences with his ideas and projects.

A pianist, violist and overtone singer, Hippocrates Cheng graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), currently studying a Master in Composition at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. His diverse repertoire ranges from instrumental and vocal solos to large-scale multimedia and improvisational pieces.

Cheng has been very active in recent years, his works favoured and played by chamber orchestras and jazz bands. His debut recital came in 2015, where he employed real-time interactive audiovisual technology as part of his effort to present music in a new way. In the same year, Collegium Musicum Hong Kong premiered his Traces of Silk Road in a concert of the same name, as well as featuring another three compositions by Cheng. He has also created two improvisational pieces for the HKBU.

Born in Hong Kong, Li has been a freelance dancer-choreographer since graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He has worked with many celebrated artists and groups, such as Yuri Ng, Edward Lam, Tang Shu-wing, Mui Cheuk-yin, Xing Liang, Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, and Hong Kong Repertory Theatre. His performance credits include Thunderstorm by Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, Springboard Showcase by the Hong Kong Dance Alliance etc, most notably his portrayal of Zhou Chong in Thunderstorm. Recently he also participated in Jacky Cheung’s Classic Tour concert as a featured dancer. He is the founder of dance group Voy Arts Ensemble which sets out to foster collaborations among artists.

A Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts graduate majoring in Contemporary Dance and Choreography, Alice Ma has cooperated with different companies and artists including the Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF), E-side Dance Company, Hong Kong Dance Company, Y-Space, City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC), and more. She has performed in plays such as Field of Dreams – A Musical by Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Four Thousand Gold by Drama Gallery, Once Upon a Time by Theatre Ronin, and Antigone by Theatre du Pif.

Ma has had a keen interest in choreographing as well. Her recent work includes Wu for the HKAF’s Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance Series, Soulless by E-Side Dance Company, WuDaoQingNian 2014 by the CCDC Dance Centre, Upstairs Downstairs by Y-Space i-Dance, etc.

A Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts graduate majoring in Contemporary Dance, Kingsan Lo obtained a postgraduate degree from the London Contemporary Dance School. As a professional dancer, he has worked closely with local and international choreographers and companies, such as Wayson Poon (HK), Katie Yau (HK), Clod Ensemble (UK), Neon Dance (UK), Laura Aris (Spain), Philippe Blanchard (France), Panorama Dance Theater (Switzerland), to name a few.
