Exploring existence through the piano
The meaning of life and death has intrigued and inspired writers and philosophers throughout time. Music Lab, a local group dedicated to creative classical music awareness-raising, reflects on these eternal questions in an out-of-the-box concert 1314 in which pianist KaJeng Wong performs Liszt’s Piano Sonata in B minor to portray our inner struggle with the idea of death and a piece by young composer Hippocrates Cheng on the theme of life. Interactivity is provided by two dancers who will encourage the audience to move with the music. KaJeng will also share his views after the show.
