Utopia, momentarily
Susie Au x Vicky Fung x Chow Yiu Fai
  • "A hopeful presentiment keeps the alliance with everything dawning in the world" ── Ernst Bloch, The Utopian Function of Art and Literature

Susie Au, Vicky Fung, Chow Yiu Fai
Friends in the world of popular music. Trying in their own ways to stay youthful, vocal.
In a city being compelled to age, being silenced.
    Now they collaborate.
Calling upon alternative bodies, voices, imaginations, and you,
To invoke a fantastical frisson of creativity,
    An experiment of un-aging, de-silencing - and re-gaining hope.
Who says we can't have utopia?

Eman Lam, Yoyo Sham, Cissy Ma, Lai Yuk-ching, Chan Nga-shan, Cliff Huen, Billy Yip, and other voices: Yes, we can!
