Happiness and Rome, All Built in One Day
Final Chapter of Edward Lam Dance Theatre's Urban Trilogy (2008-2010)
Present _ Design for Living (2008)
Past _ Man and Woman, War and Peace (2009)
Future _ Grand Expectations (2010)
She calls it Sense, he calls it Vision, but who can foresee a further Future?
The Tower of Babel and Noah's Ark are two of the greatest constructions in the biblical world; one houses the crude arrogance of mankind while the other shelters pious modesty. In the face of Destiny, should one try to conquer or submit?
She awaits her prince charming; he dreams of becoming a superstar, until one man shows up and changes everything. Three of them will confront their lives like they've never been confronted before. Destiny, bringing its power and force, shows up unexpectedly, with a cunning smile.
A ménage à trois in a contemporary urban setting –
She (Sinje Lee) wanders restlessly to find a love nest in which to rest.
He (David Wang) dares to be vain, with a place at the pinnacle all he desires.
He (Tony Yang) stamps out complexities with sparkling precision and clarity.
