The Will to Build - Space, Pace and Place

What's it like to live in a tiny 30th-floor apartment above a shopping mall and an MTR station? Is Hong Kong's relentless construction boom killing the city's soul? Can property developers and heritage activists ever see eye-to-eye?

The Will to Build exhibition complements Theatre du Pif and London-based multi-media artists Burst TV's collaboration in a “verbatim theatre” production of the same name, which aims to share the stories of real people and stimulate debate about issues of public space, private profit, collective memory and the city's identity.
