music. By combining Western classical and Chinese
traditional music, jazz, different ethnic rhythms and contemporary sounds, this performance truly lives up to the
boundless spirit of World Music.
A one-time-only performance to enrich the soul, this 90-minute, non-stop 'total music theatre' piece at City Hall Theatre breaks new ground with its specially designed set, four-channel sonic sculpture compositions, video, computer-processed narration and live Chinese calligraphy performances. With a 3-D surround sound system, JohnChen Ensemble's Zen-inspired music will lead the audience into a realm of spiritual calmness.
