Soirée de Danse Roland Petit presents an evening of dynamic, exquisitely choreographed dance performances by seven top ballet names from Europe, South America and Asia .
Renowned for his elegant yet powerful style, Roland Petit is one of France's greatest classical and contemporary ballet choreographers. Soirée de Danse Roland Petit features excerpts from classics such as Carmen, Sophisticated Lady and Coppélius et la Poupée as well as new creations, all interpreted by the hottest talents on the international ballet scene.
Produced and performed by Shall We Dance? star Tamiyo Kusakari, the production's spectacular lineup also includes Wang Qimin and Li Jun of the National Ballet of China; Petit's long-time collaborator Luigi Bonino; internationally acclaimed Lienz Chang; Raimondo Rebeck, known for his traditional German style; and Altankhuyag Dugaraa accompanied by the lyricism of Mongolia. Each gives individual interpretations of the master's works.
